The Music Icon Portrays a Hell Version of Her Own Identity in Fictional Documentary Preview
Charli XCX is gearing up for a significant film presence in 2026, kicking off with the mockumentary titled The Moment.
Throughout the movie, she portrays what she describes as a twisted version of herself.
It’s the realest depiction of the entertainment world that I’ve ever witnessed, Charli remarked.
She clarified in an interview: It’s not a tour documentary, but the idea originated from the expectation to produce one.
A Glimpse into The Moment
The debut trailer, unveiled on Thursday, combines real clips from her live performances with imagined off-stage interactions.
The mockumentary is directed and co-written by Aidan Zamiri, who explained that the plot focuses on a reality where the singer took completely different paths in the publicity of her hugely successful record Brat.
