British Airways stated that the complimentary, “fast and dependable” connectivity offering from SpaceX becomes accessible to customers in coach, business, or premium cabins starting soon.
Broad Rollout Throughout Multiple Carriers
The umbrella organization for BA, International Airlines Group, confirmed it had reached an agreement with SpaceX to provide wifi coverage across over 500 jets within the group's airlines, such as Aer Lingus, Iberia, plus Vueling.
Smooth Internet from Gate through Arrival
British Airways stated that the rollout of the technology was included in a multi-billion pound “modernization” initiative and would deliver lag-free connectivity coverage to passengers from the gate to arrival, even when they are flying across large bodies of water and isolated areas.
