Soccer Star Aaron Ramsey Ups Reward for Missing Canine in Mexico to $20,000
Welsh soccer player Ramsey has boosted the bounty for leads concerning the vanished canine named Halo to £15,000.
The former Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who currently plays for the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, mentioned that Halo was observed in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato state zone.
the dog, who vanished on 9 October, was had on a dog tracker collar, and Ramsey posted a Google maps location of where she was last seen.
"Any updates regarding our Halo please contact us. Big incentive for reuniting with her. We are all hoping she's ok and comes home with us soon," Ramsey wrote on social media.
Initial Bounty and Emotional Pleas
The footballer initially revealed that his dog had vanished a fortnight back and has subsequently shared multiple pictures of the cherished dog on Instagram.
A $ten thousand dollar incentive was first offered, but with no news on Halo's location after a week, Ramsey and his family increased the sum.
"Our only wish is our pet home," he stated in another request on his online platforms after the 10-year-old pet went missing.
The most recent picture post is a grayscale photo of the beagle napping, its head lying in the crook of the athlete's elbow, with the caption: "What I wouldn't give to cuddle you once more sweet Halo."
Household's Concerns and Background
The footballer has additionally posted a statement from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media mentioning they have some "serious questions" about the disappearance and fear the household "might not receive explanations".
"To this day we haven't found Halo. I don't think we will," his wife's update expressed.
The Wales captain became part of Mexico's first division team Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and made his inaugural match in Liga MX in the eighth month.
